Homecoming...Not so much

We are unfortunately still in the hospital. Admitted on Friday morning with a optimistic plan of being discharged today (Monday). The Methotrexate (chemo) he received on Friday needs to clear from his system before he can be discharged. We are looking for a level of <.1 of Methotrexate in his blood and Ph of >7 in his urine. Ph is good, at 7.5. Blood is at .2! UGH. So, one more night. The good news is that he is feeling well. Was sick a couple of times during our visit but otherwise using nausea meds to keep him comfortable. His medical team will test him again in the morning and will be discharged as early as 7AM if he has cleared the chemo. We cannot wait to get home, even if it's just for a few nights.

Speaking of homecoming, Jordan physically missed his first homecoming weekend but was fully there in spirit. His school has a parade through the town of Golden on Friday night followed by the football game. The pictures attached says it all :) Thank you to all of his friends and our friends for sending these to us! Our phones were blowing up on Friday night showing us all the love.
