Outpouring of Support

When Jordan was in the 6th grade, he donated 10 inches of his hair to #wigsforkids. None of us would have imagined we would be here today, supporting Jordan through his own fight against bone cancer. Since we learned of his diagnosis, we have been overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and support from the Golden community.
Our neighbors made a sign and hung it on our front door, delivered immunity tea and baked some heart-warming zucchini bread.
A meal train was created and already full through the year. https://mealtrain.com/2e7997
Jordan’s friends came together and organized a surprise party for him to show their support while the parents hosted a Dad and a Mom happy hour for Dan and I.
So many families and teachers in the community purchased t-shirts that read “His Fight is My Fight” with a plan to wear them on Jordan’s chemo treatment days.
His soccer team has an optional “Buzz cuts for Jordan“ event posted for later this week.
The day before he was admitted to the hospital, a handful of friends of Jordan and Sami came over to chalk up the driveway with words of encouragement.

The abundant amount of gifts and cards being delivered has been beyond our expectations.
And… it has only been a week since we learned of his diagnosis. We feel so fortunate to be a part of this community and value each and every one of you. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
Jordan is a fighter and is already an inspiration to many. #hisfightisourfight
