And we are back! Jordan’s leg is healing well (finally) and he is starting to walk, engage in some cool opportunities and getting fired up for the future.
The doctor has cleared Jordan to swim and walk about 2 weeks ago. Two things he hasn’t be able to do in 11+ months!
He was also interviewed for Childhood Cancer Awareness Month with Denver’s channel 7 which was a fun and cool experience. https://www.denver7.com/news/local-news/golden-teen-shares-his-story-for-childhood-cancer-awareness-month
Last year, Jordan missed his school’s homecoming parade and celebrations due to his chemo treatment. This year, he fully embraced both, by being in the parade and going to the dance.

He also got his first haircut last week since his pre-cancer days.

He recently bought new ski gear with money he received from the Ski Fast Foundation which will give him the opportunity to Three-track ski this winter. He has a lesson on the calendar for early December. We can’t wait for ski season and to have Jordan back on the snow with us.
Needless to say, Jordan is perpetually happy these days. We are embracing this positive momentum and think it’s here to stay.

It was so wonderful to see Jordan’s interview on tv. What a poised young man. I have seen the video of Jordan with the new prosthetic. I can imagine how excited you all are to be all together on the slopes this year. Much love to the Super Obies. Jane
