Ring that bell!

The emotions are hard to define as we are slowly closing chapter 1. It’s been 8 long months of worry, stress, hope and strength. It will take some time to process and find the closure.
Jordan rang that bell on Tuesday!
His care team at the hospital helped us celebrate his final round of chemo. We are beyond happy! We can finally spend time as a family and not have to think about the next hospital visit. Jordan’s friends threw him a surprise party that night to celebrate and then our friends threw Dan and I a surprise party over the weekend to celebrate us. We feel the love! What a wild 8 months it’s been.

Next up:
- May 12: PET Scan; CT Scan, echocardiogram and MRI
- May 15: audio exam; mtg with the oncology team to review the results (and will ring the bell once more to officially say goodbye to cancer!!)
- May 17: outpatient surgery to remove his port and conduct a skin graft for his open wound.
Once Jordan’s leg heals from the skin graft, he will get his prosthetic. Something he talks about daily. This boy needs a leg!
We will post again with more updates post his surgery next week.
We love you all. Thanks for continuing to follow along.
With love and all the light,
The CO Obies
We are beyond thrilled for this great news!!! Finally … the news we’ve all been praying for … CANCER FREE!
Dan, Keri, Sami- you are amazing people and greatly admired by all. Your well-deserved love and support for Jordan reassured us that he was in the very best hands. Love and devotion does much to help strengthen and heal. Jordan we will never forget the strength and courage you showed through this long ordeal. You are a certified super star to say the least.
We will continue to pray for all good things and smooth sailing over the next months... and years! NOW GO GET THAT LEG!!!
Your friends in East Longmeadow,
Janice and Jim Walsh.
We are all so happy for you. We will keep the prayers coming for the next round of successes to come. Love from the CS Obies❤️

Great kid, great family, great friends. Wonderful celebration week.
Bob and I are so very happy for Jordan and the entire family! What an accomplishment on all your parts, but especially Jordan's. He is an extraordinary child in getting through what he has and now to emerge triumphant! Congratulations to you all! Sending our love!!!
