The final push

We got through the worst of it. After a 4 night hospital stay for being neutropenic, Jordan was discharged yesterday as his ANC levels showed improvement (at 120).

It is crazy how quickly he can rebound. He went to school today and is back to his normal self. Strong ass kid. We are home as a family for the week, back in the hospital on Friday for his second to last dose of chemo.

Sami is happy to have him home.

That is awesome and so glad you all are seeing the end of the tunnel for all of Jordan's treatments! He is so INCREDIBLY strong it just amazes us! We can't imagine how wonderful it must be for him to get to go back to school and just be a normal kid with his friends. So happy for you all to near the end and get back to being a family unit, celebrate, you all deserve it!!

Yeah Jordan. Keep up the fight, the end is certainly within reach. Just think two more and then no more chemicals. Let the healing process begin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This news uplifted my spirits after spending a week inside with my first (and hopefully only) bout of covid.

Enjoy each other, Jordan and Sammi, siblings are the closest relatives you have.
